GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Wyoming Game and Fish Department announced that South Jackson Wildlife Biologist Gary Fralick retires after nearly 40 years of service. His work advanced mule deer research (the largest study in the state) and strengthened wildlife outreach across the region.  Cap City News

HEALTH NEWS

  • Between Jan. 5 and Jan. 8, the Cheyenne-Laramie County Health Department inspected local food outlets such as Mr. Jim’s Pizza, Five Guys, and Arby’s. Some establishments had minor violations that were corrected on site, while others showed no issues and did not require reinspection.  Cap City News

  • Anthony Beavers Jr., a senior from USC, signed with the Wyoming Cowboys to play linebacker this week in Laramie (spring practice starts March 24). The 6-foot-1 athlete, known for his community work and strong academics, adds depth to a linebacker room preparing for upcoming challenges.  KING FM
