Gas prices in Laramie County dropped to $2.29 today as the national average fell to $2.73, with AAA+GasBuddy reporting a drop of 4 cents locally and a decrease of 0.8 cents nationwide.

The decline follows seasonal trends.

Wyoming drivers see relief from falling gas prices after a week of drops brought the state average to $2.42 per gallon, with some stations now reporting rates below two dollars.

GasBuddy data shows prices were 17.6 cents lower than a month ago, benefiting local motorists.
