- ➤ United Way of Laramie County has appointed Kaylee Harmon as its board president for 2026. The nonprofit announced her appointment along with vice president Rick Kaysen and treasurer Conner Hunsaker as several community leaders join the board to focus on youth and community resiliency. - ➤ Laramie County gas prices remain stable at $2.29 this week while the national average rose to $2.76 per gallon (AAA), showing that local drivers did not feel the recent national increase. Cap City News
- ➤ Gas prices in Wyoming have edged up as the average rose by 0.4 cents to $2.42 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy.com's survey of 494 stations across the state. Wyoming Tribune Eagle

- ➤ The Laramie County Board of Commissioners met Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Historic Courthouse and considered adding 45 wagering terminals at the 307 Horse Racing facility (DT’s Liquor Mart and Tusker Bar). A public hearing on a residential subdivision was also on the agenda. Cap City News
- ➤ Wyoming lawmakers passed a draft bill of 58 pages to dismantle the Business Council, shifting programs such as the Wyoming Broadband Office's $400 million federal funds to the governor's office, and the measure is set for full debate when the Legislature reconvenes in February in Cheyenne.
