EDUCATION NEWS

  • At its Monday meeting, the LCSD1 board honored district achievements by naming Triumph High’s Saphearya Brownson Student of the Week, celebrating Sunrise Elementary’s Level 2 High Reliability School Certification, and recognizing Central High principal Karen Delbridge and Transportation employee Sara Vialpando for their contributions (including early snow removal efforts).  Cap City News
  • LCSD1 officials recommended Pershing Boulevard as the new boundary for Deming Elementary students displaced by the school closure, assigning north-zone students to Davis and south-zone students to Pioneer Park & allowing families to choose the alternative school.
