  • Brad Arnold, longtime lead singer of 3 Doors Down, died on Feb. 7 at age 47 after battling stage-4 kidney cancer; Cheyenne audiences remember his Frontier Days shows in 2001 and 2009 as important moments in local rock history — his performances left a lasting mark on the community.  KING FM

  • Wyoming’s Economic Analysis Division released the January 2026 Wyoming Insight report showing national natural gas prices surged to $7.65 per MMbtu, while regional prices edged up to $3.53 (an increase of over $0.45 from December), which led to higher heating bills; oil prices and rig counts remained steady.  KING FM
