  • Cheyenne police arrested 19-year-old Kyree Deaon Kaleb Payne-Laramore after he threatened his grandfather with a knife on Tuesday at the 2000 block of Dunn Avenue—deputies found marijuana, suspected cocaine and additional drugs in his vehicle.  Cap City News
  • A 26-year-old Cheyenne man was sentenced Wednesday to three to five years in prison for a DUI crash on May 17, 2024 at North College Drive and Carla Drive in which he intentionally collided with an SUV, seriously injuring the driver and causing about $55,000 in damage+power outages in the area.  KGAB
  • A Cheyenne teen was arrested on March 12 after surveillance video linked him to multiple burglaries in a local neighborhood — police booked the 16-year-old into Juvenile Detention Center on burglary charges.  Cap City News

  • The seven cabins and group shelters at EKW State Park are available for rental from May 1 to September 30 to give families a comfortable glamping experience with basic supplies provided.   • This summer, Edness Kimble Wilkins State Park is opening seven cabins and group shelters for rent from May 1 to September 30, offering a simple glamping experience in the park without electricity, running water, or internet—guests need to bring water, bedding, and supplies.
