  • Cheyenne police are asking the public for help identifying two thieves caught on camera stealing deposits from a drop box at Cheyenne Station Apartments on Taft Avenue on March 10, as a video released on March 14 urges anyone with tips — which may earn them up to $1,000 — to contact the department.  KGAB
  • A 34-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony drug charge after leading a high-speed chase on Friday night that ended when his vehicle burst into flames — police later apprehended him at North College Drive and Charles Street after a K-9 alerted officers to controlled substances.  Cap City News

  • The U.S. Air Force is hosting a Sentinel Program Town Hall from 6 to 8 p.m. on April 2, 2025 at the Pine Bluffs Community Center. Officials will update residents and landowners on upcoming construction projects—explaining how the program review will affect missile fields near F.E.   • Gov. Mark Gordon has ordered the U.S. and Wyoming flags to half-staff today as the state mourns former U.S. Senator Al Simpson, who died in Cody. The flags will remain half-staff until sundown on the day of interment — the governor’s office will share when they return to full-staff.  Cap City News
  • Former Wyoming Senator Alan Simpson died at 93 early Friday after struggling to recover from a broken hip he suffered in December. He served from 1979 to 1997 and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2022 — his legacy is marked by his humor and service.  Cap City News
