- ➤ Michael Punke, author of The Revenant, will speak at Laramie County Community College on March 26. He will host a session for students at 11 a.m. and a public presentation with a book signing at 7 p.m. — registration is required. Cap City News
- ➤ Students from four local high schools will display artwork at Storey Gym for the Capital City Art Show from April 13 to 17. Selected pieces advance to Casper for the Wyoming State Art Symposium, and a VIP reception (4-6 p.m. April 13) with awards (4-6 p.m. April 16) will follow. Cap City News

- ➤ Gas prices in Wyoming jumped 24 cents last week to average $3.69 per gallon, while diesel hit levels not seen since 2022. A GasBuddy survey of 494 stations showed prices ranging from $3.19 to $4.89 per gallon. KING FM
- ➤ Laramie County gas prices increased by 18 cents this week to $3.58 per gallon, marking an 83-cent rise over 21 days. National prices continue rising as seasonal factors and supply concerns drive consumers to brace for higher costs — a trend that may affect local drivers. Cap City News
