ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Meteorologists note signs an El Niño is forming over the Pacific that could bring rain to Wyoming before summer. Cheyenne expert Don Day cautioned that forecasts with a 70% chance of El Niño remain uncertain — it is too early to say if a stronger event will occur.  Cowboy State Daily

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • On Tuesday, the Industrial Siting Council approved an amendment that postpones the Dinosolar solar project from April 2024 to on or before March 3, 2029 and reduces its capacity from 440MW on 3,591 acres to 240MW on 2,396 acres (Mills Mayor Leah Juarez expressed concern about the financial impact).  Cowboy State Daily
