- ➤ Hayley Morton, an eighth-grade student at Johnson Junior High, was named LCSD1 Student of the Week for the week of March 30. She earned the honor for strong academics, attendance, and a role in track and volleyball (she named Ken Johnson as her favorite teacher). Cap City News

SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Cheyenne Gymnastics swept first place in four divisions at the USA Gymnastics Wyoming State Championships from March 20–22 in its new facility. - ➤ Wyoming defensive tackle Dante Drake, who tore his achilles last summer, discussed his return for Cowboy Football spring practice on SportsZone this week — he is determined to regain his form for the upcoming season. KFBC
- ➤ PRCA CEO Tom Glause said on SportsZone that the headquarters and Hall of Fame museum may move to Cheyenne pending a board vote next month. The decision will indicate if the historic site becomes a local asset. KFBC
