  • A record-warm winter has sparked an early birding season in Cheyenne, where veteran Charles Seniawski attracts rare birds with sunflower seeds. The Jackson Hole Birding Festival returns May 27-30, offering field trips, workshops and talks for enthusiasts of all ages.  Cowboy State Daily
  • A Glenrock couple found a mysterious coin advertising Cheyenne Frontier Days along the North Platte River last month. The token (once used as a saloon chip at local festivities) is now treasured as a lucky reminder of their Wyoming rockhounding adventure.  Cowboy State Daily
  • In 1884, a British MP, Gilbert Leigh, visited Wyoming to hunt sheep and fell over 100 feet into Tensleep Canyon near Cheyenne. Local guides later built a stone monument and named a creek in his honor (a nod to his enduring legacy).  Cowboy State Daily

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Futurist Jeff Wacker expects AI and robotics to reshape jobs and work life, and he explained that Wyoming’s energy, small population and innovative spirit could give the state an edge in this future.
