- ➤ Wyoming beef producers have struggled to sell American beef in Australia because the country accepts only beef from cattle that are born, raised and slaughtered in the U.S.—a rule that prevents products blended from Canada or Mexico from entering the market. Sen. John Barrasso and others said the tariff adjustments announced on April 2 and heated Senate debates underscored a trade dispute that hurt local producers and could lead to new changes in export rules. - ➤ The City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities will hold a work session with City Council members on Friday, April 18 to discuss the Fiscal Year 2026 budget. - ➤ During Friday's City Council work session, consultant Mark Christensen presented a new master plan update for Belvoir Ranch that divides the property into four areas—Natural and Recreation, History and Interpretation, Opportunity and Transition, and Energy and Services.
