  • GasBuddy reported Monday that Wyoming's average gas price stayed at $3.80 per gallon for the second week in a row according to a recent survey. Local drivers saw no change in fuel expenses this week.  Wyoming Tribune Eagle
  • Laramie County’s average gas price increased 12 cents to $3.72 per gallon yesterday, while the national price fell below $4 amid easing supply concerns + market uncertainty. The lowest rates were $3.49 at Moody’s Rock Stop and $3.50 at Sam’s Club.  Cap City News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The LCSD1 Board of Trustees celebrated student and staff achievements at a Monday meeting, recognizing top academics, athletes, and leaders at East and South High Schools (including the 4A State Girls Basketball champions) and honoring staff excellence.  Cap City News
  • The LCSD1 board approved a $412K contract to upgrade the outdated intercom system at Alta Vista (after a recent wind exposed its flaws) and allocated up to $100K for new health curriculum materials for the upcoming school year, officials said.  Cap City News

  • During an 85-play scrimmage in Laramie, Gage Brook, a former backup QB now trying the tight end role, caught an off-target pass and scored a touchdown. Coaches praised his ball skills and noted that more work on blocking will boost his performance.  106.3 Cowboy Country
