  • After a March town hall in Wheatland, an elderly woman approached Rep. Harriet Hageman aggressively with her hands near her face—staff intervened and a police officer held her wrists—and she apologized and left while Hageman later cited the incident as fueling her decision to hold some town halls online for safety concerns.  Cap City News

  • Artist Sadie Clarendon searched for early spring flowers on public land near Laramie and found waxy buttercups on April 6 and furry pasque flowers on April 13 (she has visited the same spot each April since 2022). Her floral finds now inspire her upcoming ceramic art.  Cap City News

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking instream flow water rights for segments of six streams in the Bighorn National Forest to protect Yellowstone cutthroat trout. Two public hearings will be held at 9 a.m. on April 29 at the Big Horn County Fair Hall in Basin and on April 30 at the Dayton Town Hall in Dayton—officials invite public comments on the proposals.  Cap City News
