- ➤ Kairy Hill Jr., 57, of Cheyenne is now one of eight fugitives on Laramie County’s most wanted list for a warrant on cocaine possession. KING FM

- ➤ A 41-year-old transient from Cheyenne was arrested at Walmart at 580 Livingston Ave. — on April 18 at 4 p.m. — for burglary after police responded to a trespass call and discovered an outstanding warrant, and his preliminary hearing is set today at 2 p.m. in Laramie County Circuit Court. 106.3 Cowboy Country

- ➤ Laramie County Community College’s Music Department will host Party Time, a free concert at 7 p.m. May 4th at the Cheyenne campus on the Surbrugg/Prentice Auditorium stage. The event will feature party-themed performances by the LCCC Chamber Orchestra, led by John Fritz, and the LCCC Wind Ensemble, directed by Dr. Frank Cook—highlighting student and community talent. - ➤ The Cheyenne City Council approved Monday an ordinance to regulate dockless vehicles by replacing month-to-month licenses with a formal request-for-proposal process that sets criteria like fleet size, safety and community engagement — city staff expect the RFP to be posted soon with a new provider in place by June. Councilmembers debated amendments, and the final measure ties the removal period for equipment to the start of the new operating agreement, with existing licenses ending upon issuance of that contract. - ➤ The Cheyenne City Council approved items on Monday, April 28th, including truck bids from Floyd’s Truck Center for the Sanitation and Street & Alley Divisions and a contract modification with Trihydro Corp extending landfill mapping services—furthermore, the council advanced resolutions to annex county pockets and approved a liquor license for Cheba Hut while referring future spending items to its Finance and Public Services Committees. Two Trailhead Estates plats will create 122 single-family lots and add open space while a Jolly Rogers plat will split a 4.13-acre parcel into two lots — the council required minor technical corrections—.
