  • Cheyenne Police are asking locals to help identify a woman who may have tampered with a utility meter in a downtown alley—anyone who recognizes her is asked to call Officer Inman at 307-633-6662, according to Lt. Dan Long.  106.3 Cowboy Country

  • A Cheyenne man was named to the Wyoming Cowboy Hall of Fame Class of 2025—one of 23 inductees chosen by the board from across the state.  The Cheyenne Post

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The City of Cheyenne released its proposed FY 2026 budget with a total of $154 million covering all key funds—general, permanent, fiduciary, special revenue, proprietary, and capital projects. City Council will review the budget in work sessions starting today with a public hearing on June 9 before the new budget becomes effective on July 1.  KFBC
  • The City of Cheyenne is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Affordable Housing Task Force which will review housing programs and recommend actions to City Council. Cheyenne residents must submit applications by Wednesday, May 21 at 5 p.m. — the board will coordinate with county, state, and federal partners — to shape future affordable housing efforts.  City of Cheyenne
