- ➤ Cheyenne Kiwanis Club Foundation awarded a record $90,000 grant to 24 local groups that support Laramie County youth. The funds came from annual golf and statewide donation events and mark the foundation’s largest grant cycle in its 50-year history. Cap City News

- ➤ Wyoming Downs and 307 Horse Racing announced a $180 million plan to build gaming facilities and renovate properties statewide (including two $80 million projects in Laramie and Uinta counties) that will create 300 jobs; the Laramie site will open in spring 2027 and the Uinta project in early 2027. - ➤ The Forest Service announced a major reorganization that will replace nine regional offices with 15 state-based offices, including a new Northern Plains State Office in Cheyenne. Officials confirmed (USDA) the change will not affect district office staffing while aiming to streamline management of public lands. Cap City News
- ➤ Wyoming lawmakers and a Cheyenne car dealer expressed concern Friday over a federal mandate that will require 2027 vehicles to include kill switch technology plus raise questions over safety and privacy as the new models begin reaching dealerships later this year. Cowboy State Daily
