- ➤ A Laramie County man, Mark Switzer, 73, was sentenced Friday to four years in prison for mercy-killing his friend Nathan Combs – who was scared of going to jail over child pornography charges – after Switzer admitted he helped end his life. Cowboy State Daily

- ➤ The Cheyenne Gunslingers must leave their downtown site as the city approved a new attraction that replaces the West 15th Street location—forcing the group to find a home closer to Cheyenne Frontier Days.
