ECONOMY NEWS

  • Laramie County’s average gas price dropped 7 cents to $2.985 this week, matching a national decline to $3.08 per gallon as reported by GasBuddy. Local data shows Walmart now offers fuel at $2.83 and Natrona County remains the cheapest at $2.86 — refineries have completed seasonal maintenance and plan to boost output soon.  Cap City News

  • Cheyenne City Council is reviewing an $18M budget proposal for the Community Recreation & Events Department that funds local parks, pools and community events and sets spending for divisions like Aquatics and Urban Forestry—changes that may affect projects such as Johnson Pool repairs.
