- ➤ The 20th annual Cheyenne Day Of Giving—held at the Kiwanis Club House in Lions Park—collected nearly 12 tons of food and personal care items along with 1400 pounds of medical supplies, 110 pieces of durable medical equipment and 40 pieces of gently used furniture. - ➤ Cheyenne Day of Giving was held Friday at the Kiwanis Club House in Lions Park and collected almost 12 tons of food and personal care items along with over 1400 pounds of medical supplies, 110 pieces of durable medical equipment and 40 pieces of used furniture—supporting neighbors in need. - ➤ Human remains found south of Cheyenne on October 14th, 2024 by a construction crew have been identified as those of 59-year-old Roy Arthur Moates—confirmed through DNA analysis and help from forensic anthropologist Dr. Diane France—while authorities report no foul play is suspected. KGAB
- ➤ Two 16 year old males were arrested in Cheyenne after a stolen truck chase began around 10:30 p.m. on May 12—deputies searching for runaway juveniles spotted the truck and the chase ended near the 3500 block of Barbell Court when the teens fled on foot and were quickly apprehended with help from the Wyoming Highway Patrol. - ➤ Wyoming’s Department of Environmental Quality is reviewing Microsoft’s proposal to install 128 backup diesel generators at a planned data center facility five miles southeast of Cheyenne—public comments on the permit will be accepted through May 21. Microsoft also plans to build four more facilities in the area and expects to increase local employment to 335 full-time workers by the end of 2026. Cap City News

The division said fresh cut flowers can be placed anytime and holiday decorations are allowed one week before and after Memorial Day—items on the mowing surface may be removed during mowing season.
