- ➤ The Interior Department announced a new oil and gas leasing process that cuts review time to six months—along with alternative expedited environmental reviews—and Rep. Hageman passed a bill to speed up the appeals process for denied projects. The policy changes aim to boost energy development on public lands even as proposed rescissions for renewable projects and ongoing litigation leave some future installations uncertain.
