EDUCATION NEWS

  • Laramie County Community College held three commencement ceremonies Saturday at 9 a.m.—staff, administrators, and students celebrated the largest graduating class in its 57-year history.  Wyoming Tribune Eagle

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Agencies including the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, the Wyoming Department of Transportation, the WYldlife Fund and the Greater Yellowstone Coalition are working to secure extra funds for the Dubois wildlife crossing project that will reduce collisions along U.S. Highway 26/287. The project will add underpasses, an overpass — and fencing — once full funding is obtained.  Cap City News

  • The Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities announced its new online payment platform—CORE—will go live on Tuesday, June 3 to let customers pay their bills in a faster, safer way. More details will be shared before the launch.  Cap City News
  • The City of Cheyenne is now accepting applications from residents for one vacancy on the Public Transit Advisory Board and two vacancies on the Historic Preservation Board, both with three-year terms. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on June 5.  Cap City News
