- ➤ Kylee Funmaker was arrested after allegedly driving her vehicle into an occupied car at 1000 E. Prosser Rd in south Cheyenne on May 17 at 7:14 p.m—both victims said they were inside—she is scheduled to appear in Laramie County Circuit Court today at 9:45 a.m on two counts of aggravated assault and battery. - ➤ Columnist Dave Simpson reported that Cheyenne’s new Walmart sold a dozen eggs for $4.97 in January, $4.47 in March, $3.94 in April, and $3.47 today — a drop from 41 cents to 29 cents per egg and nearly a 30 percent decrease since his last check. - ➤ Laramie County School District 1 trustees met today at 6 p.m. at the Storey Gym Boardroom and by Zoom to review a preliminary $427.8 million budget that weighs increased state funding from House Enrolled Act 0068 against a drop in student enrollment — leading to a planned overall funding boost despite a $3.2 million shortfall. They will vote on renewing contracts for sign language interpretation and employee assistance and consider budget amendments — including funds transfers and service adjustments. Cap City News
