An Evanston man—Brady Joseph Ehlers, 35—was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison after being arrested last fall at a Cheyenne hotel with over 700 fentanyl pills, with U.S. District Judge Alan B.

Johnson handing down the sentence on April 15th and co-defendant Ashley Haberman remaining in detention.

A Cheyenne man was arrested on June 2 for depositing fraudulent checks totaling $1,900 at a local credit union — investigators say he opened an account on May 5 and used invalid checks from Meridian Bank and Trust to withdraw cash.

Cheyenne City officials opened the public comment period for the Fox Crest Community Center environmental review (no significant impact was found) at 4125 Cox Court.

The City will review comments until June 11 and then submit a request on or about June 12 to seek HUD funds for the project.
