  • Cheyenne Superday 2025 is scheduled for June 28 at Lions Park—featuring cycling, pickleball, a 5K Fun Run and squirt gun fight for families and local residents. Organizers warn that parking will be limited so visitors should plan to carpool, bike or walk.  KGAB

CRIME NEWS

  • Jacob Todd Burns, a 32-year-old Cheyenne man, was arrested on June 2 at 3:30 p.m. for felony theft and is held on a $5,000 cash bond while his preliminary hearing will be held on Thursday, June 12.  106.3 Cowboy Country

  • Cheyenne Frontier Days has partnered with West Edge to launch a free virtual reality app that brings the rodeo experience to your home. The app offers 360-degree views of Frontier Park (and behind-the-scenes insights) as the event runs July 18-27.  106.3 Cowboy Country

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Cheyenne City Council approved a $203.6M budget for the upcoming fiscal year that will take effect July 1 — with water fees set to increase by $3 and sewer fees by $2. Councilmembers Michelle Aldrich, Mark Moody and Pete Laybourn opposed the plan over concerns about large employee pay raises and delayed maintenance funding.  Cap City News
  • WYDOT has closed a section of WYO 213 near the Burns interchange at mile marker 386 on I-80 for road work — crews install stormwater pipes and manholes while a detour is active and the closure is expected to last a couple weeks.  Cap City News
