- ➤ Cheba Hut opened its first Wyoming location at 3838 Atkin St. in Cheyenne on June 2. - ➤ James Edward Carrera, a Cheyenne man on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office Most Wanted list, was captured in a traffic stop on the 400 block of southbound Interstate 180 at 7:11 p.m. Friday, June 20 after officers discovered he had a felony warrant for failure to appear. KING FM

- ➤ The Cheyenne City Council meets tonight at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers to hold a public hearing on the 2025–2027 Community Development Plan and vote on ordinances for annexations, park fees, and signage changes. Other agenda items include contracts for street reconstruction and building sales plus appointments such as the new fire chief, with supporting documents available on the city website. Cap City News
- ➤ Today, the Laramie County Board of Commissioners approved a site plan for a 150-foot cellular tower on Powderhouse Mountain—an effort to improve wireless service despite local concerns over health, property values and scenic impact. Rocky Mountain Towers presented the proposal and the plan, which names Verizon as the anchor tenant, will require agency comments and permit corrections before a Certificate of Review is issued—official actions meant to ensure compliance and safety. - ➤ Laramie County commissioners appointed new and reappointed existing members to several boards and commissions including the Juvenile Services Joint Powers Board, Planning Commission, Senior Services Board, Library Board, Cheyenne Area Convention and Visitors Bureau Board, Hospital Board of Trustees, Community Action Board, Economic Development Joint Powers Board, and Eastern Laramie County Solid Waste Disposal District (most terms expire on June 30 while hospital board appointments last until June 30, 2030).
