  • A 54 year old Wyoming man, Clyde Winchester, died when his Chevrolet Silverado vaulted off a drainage canal on Route 287/WY 789 near mile marker 78.68 as he navigated a curve on a clear road—officials said he was not wearing his seatbelt and no other vehicles were involved.  Cap City News

  • A Wyoming State Trooper apprehended a homicide suspect from Colorado on Friday morning on Interstate 80 in Laramie County by deploying a Grappler police pursuit system*a trooper sustained minor injuries, received treatment at a local hospital, and Laramie County deputies took the suspect into custody.  KFBC
  • A Cheyenne woman on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office Most Wanted list since May 12 was taken into custody by US Marshals in Colorado Springs on June 30—she is accused of violating her bond for felony theft, robbery, and blackmail.  106.3 Cowboy Country
  • A Cheyenne teenager faced 2nd degree murder charges after a disagreement turned deadly at 505 Williams Street in unincorporated Laramie County early Friday morning when 18-year-old Ryan Snow died — authorities said 19-year-old Nathan Pfaff was in custody and a second detained person is not a suspect.  KFBC
  • An 18-year-old Cheyenne man named Elijah Kevin Givhan faces drug, firearm, and assault charges after he was arrested in Casper on April 16 for driving a car with raw marijuana and several guns — including a stolen AR-15 — and was later charged in Cheyenne on June 28 when he struck a man with a pipe during a dispute.  Cap City News

  • Drivers in Laramie County paid an average of $2.89 per gallon today—making it the state's second-cheapest fueling area as prices drop for the second week in a row. The national average has fallen to $3.09 per gallon after OPEC boosted production, putting pressure on fuel costs.  Cap City News
