- ➤ Federal legislation has cut funding for Wyoming’s SNAP-Ed program (administered by the University of Wyoming Extension’s Cent$ible Nutrition Program) effective September 30, which will end most free nutrition education classes statewide. The program now must rely on a limited EFNEP grant (with potential carryover funds) as it works to serve families with fewer food resources. Cap City News
- ➤ Cheyenne Frontier Days parade goers will see street closures and movable vehicle barriers start at 8:00 a.m. today—new measures put in place by the Cheyenne/Laramie County Emergency Management Agency and local partners aim to keep unauthorized traffic off the parade route and surrounding roads.
