- ➤ Two women were arrested on July 3 after Cheyenne police found methamphetamine at the Subway on N. Greeley Hwy— they were taken to the Laramie County Detention Center with bonds set at $7,500 and will face a preliminary hearing on July 18 at 9:45 a.m. KING FM
- ➤ A Cheyenne man, Joshua David Wallace, was arrested on felony property destruction and misdemeanor criminal trespass charges after reportedly defacing a fiberglass sculpture of the Last Supper at St. Mary's Catholic Church on June 23—he had previously been warned for burning part of Jesus' face on the same piece. - ➤ A federal court on Tuesday blocked the Bureau of Land Management from rounding up thousands of wild horses — the judge stated the agency did not show how the plan would support ecological balance. The decision leaves the roundup on hold until the agency revises its plan. Wyoming Tribune Eagle

- ➤ At a Monday night meeting, the council declined a plan to secure a permanent spot for the Cheyenne Gunslingers — a volunteer group known for its Western shows downtown. They also approved a $987,050 bid for railcar restoration work as part of a $3.5 million project to update the historic rail display, which will be finished by June 2026. Cap City News
- ➤ Cheyenne City Council approved ordinances on Monday to expand Bison Business Park by adding 199.67 acres and rezoning 720 acres for business uses. The council also advanced two county pocket annexations with an annexation resolution scheduled for July 28 (final zoning changes are expected by Oct. 13) and introduced a zoning change for 419.06 acres owned by Microsoft Corp.
