  • A Cheyenne teen, Nathan Pfaff, 19, faces a second-degree murder charge in the death of Ryan Snow and will enter his plea in district court this week & is held on a $250,000 cash bond.  Cap City News
  • A multi-agency DUI Task Force arrested 19 impaired drivers during Cheyenne Frontier Days over four days—authorities said enforcement will continue throughout the 10-day event to keep roads safe.  KING FM

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Casper College today released the names of 461 President’s Honor Roll and 392 Dean’s Honor Roll students for the spring semester — a program honoring high academic achievement. Laramie County students from Cheyenne and Pine Bluffs met the credit and GPA requirements — the college requires at least 12 credit hours for President’s recognition.  Cap City News

  • New ICE data shows that from January 20th to June 26th most people arrested in Colorado and Wyoming had no criminal convictions—while those with convictions were often charged with nonviolent offenses like drunken driving.  Cap City News
  • The Laramie County Sheriff's Office has reinstated its mounted unit for Cheyenne Frontier Days, with three deputies on horseback patrolling downtown today to answer questions and assist with calls in the area. The deputies own their horses and cover all related expenses—helping improve crowd visibility and offering a practical nod to our western tradition.  KGAB
