- ➤ A 21-year-old airman from Kentucky died in a gunshot incident Sunday at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne—officials say the incident is under investigation and inspections of the Sig Sauer M18 pistol have begun. Cowboy State Daily
- ➤ Cheyenne Police arrested Wayne R. Clark on July 17 at 12:33 p.m. after investigating a True North Storage burglary (5815 Osage Ave) where officers recovered stolen property and 8.41 grams of suspected methamphetamine (from his vehicle and person), and he now faces multiple charges while being presumed innocent. - ➤ On July 17, a 59-year-old transient was arrested near Cheyenne when a deputy caught him in a stolen vehicle at a quarry — he has been charged with felony theft and is set for a court hearing on July 28. KING FM
- ➤ A 37-year-old Cheyenne woman named Chairrity Nicole Meehan, who has a lengthy criminal history, was arrested on July 18 at 12:26 p.m. at the Probation and Parole Office on drug possession charges that are punishable by up to five years in prison—she later appeared in court on July 22 where her bond was set at $1,500 cash with a preliminary hearing scheduled for July 30.
