- ➤ The Cheyenne City Council will hold two work sessions this week on July 30 at 6 p.m. and August 1 at noon to review progress on its 2025 goals and discuss new 6th Penny projects — the first session will be held in the Municipal Building’s Human Resources Conference Room via Zoom, and the second will take place in Council Chambers with in-person attendance. - ➤ Wyoming Highway Patrol officers now can assist ICE with immigration enforcement after Gov. Mark Gordon signed an agreement that lets them access ICE databases—training for these procedures will be free under the new policy. - ➤ Cheyenne Laramie County Public Health reported today that an adult was diagnosed with West Nile Virus after developing neurological symptoms earlier this month — the first case in Wyoming this year.
