- ➤ A Cheyenne man is charged with felony theft for trying to sell stolen construction tools from Monument Homebuilders/JEI Construction on Facebook Marketplace—police said an employee noticed the missing tools online on July 14. Cap City News
- ➤ Cheyenne Police are seeking help finding a missing 13-year-old who was last seen on the 200 block of Walterscheid Boulevard on July 31 — he has a shaved head and an L-shaped scar on the back of his head. KGAB
- ➤ Cheyenne police stopped a white Subaru on July 22 at 1:20 p.m. on U.S. Highway 30 and Whitney Road when the car was reported stolen and suspected meth was found—both people in the vehicle face felony drug possession charges, and passenger Kristine E. Gossman has additional charges for motor vehicle theft and taking a controlled substance into jail while driver Quinton E. Hogelin remains on a National Crime Information Center hold. Cap City News

- ➤ City crews from Pro Coatings Inc. will paint the Jack R. Spiker Parking Structure interior from Aug. 4 to 15 to improve visibility and safety—work on the second floor will last one week before moving to the first floor. - ➤ Wyoming lawmakers Senator Lummis and Representative Hageman introduced a bill to change the Endangered Species Act’s name to the Endangered Species Recovery Act—arguing it would better show the law’s goal of helping species recover rather than keeping them listed forever.
