- ➤ Luke Branson Talbott (31) from Casper was arrested in Cheyenne at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29 for allegedly strangling a household member and was charged with domestic battery; he faces a felony charge, was set at $3,000 cash bond, and will have a preliminary hearing on Monday, Aug. 11 at 11:30 a.m. KGAB

- ➤ Cheyenne artists Georgia and Dave Rowswell—partners in art for over 40 years—were chosen as the 2025 Wyoming Artists in Residence by the state Parks and Cultural Resources department. They will begin a 10-day residency in September that takes them to state parks where the public can observe their work firsthand. Cap City News
