A new 1% Down Conventional Loan Program in Wyoming lets qualified homebuyers pay 1% toward their down payment—plus receive a 2% non-repayable grant up to $7,000—to secure a 30-year fixed-rate loan for a primary residence.

Mortgage broker Alexander Lexington said the program offers extra flexibility and avoids extra liens or insurance costs as funds remain available.
