EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The University of Wyoming approved a plan on Aug. 13 to transfer up to $2,250,000 from next year’s operating funds to create the Wind River Promise Fund that will help Native American students from the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho tribes pay for tuition if they meet requirements—such as full-time enrollment and good academic standing. The scholarship covers undergrad tuition and mandatory fees and offers renewable support for up to eight semesters over six academic years. Cap City News
