After being lost for a week during a family camping trip in the Wind River Mountains, a seven-year-old Siberian husky named Beo was reunited with his family in Cheyenne Friday.

He was found near Papoose Lake by two caring hikers and taken for a veterinarian check-up (at noon) to ensure he is well.

Mayor Collins outlined plans for a public-private project that may build up to 184 affordable housing units in Cheyenne—he also noted a free concert series starting in September, new business expansion, and workforce training for data centers while reminding drivers to watch for school children. He met with local agencies to check on available state resources and ensure these projects strengthen community development.
