CRIME NEWS
- ➤ On Sept. 3, a 30-year-old man allegedly robbed a store at knifepoint at Murdoch's Ranch and Home Supply by threatening an employee and fleeing in a silver Nissan—he was later arrested during a high-risk traffic stop at a Maverik. KING FM
- ➤ A 41-year-old Cheyenne man, Henry Daniel Resler Jr, was arrested on Aug. 27 at Maverik on E. Lincolnway for meth possession and booked at Laramie County Detention Center with a $5,000 cash bond and a Sept. 5 hearing. KING FM
- ➤ A 44-year-old Cheyenne man was arrested after a deputy stopped him on East 18th Street at 1:11 a.m. on August 28 for speeding in a 30-mph zone while failing field sobriety tests and officers found 13.2 grams of cocaine on him—he later posted bond and is scheduled to appear in court on September 5 at 9 a.m. KGAB

- ➤ The Mayor's Council for People with Disabilities announced a free Safety Symposium at the Laramie County Library on Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., where speakers like City Councilman Pete Laybourn and Wyoming State Director of AARP Sam Shumway will offer practical tips on making homes, communities, and disaster responses safer — sponsors will provide light refreshments.
