- ➤ A Cheyenne man, Salvador Francis Collard, 45, was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 2:34 a.m. at McDonald's after police found him driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing a handgun, methamphetamine, and fentanyl—he faces felony charges and a $50,000 cash bond with a preliminary hearing set for Sept. 10 at 3:45 p.m. 106.3 Cowboy Country

Lincolnway and is held on a $50,000 cash bond on charges for possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl and DUI with a handgun (the state says he poses a clear danger to the community) with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Sept 10 at 3:45 p.m. (he was assigned a public defender by Judge Antoinette Williams). - ➤ The Laramie County Board reappointed Mark Voss as county attorney effective Sept. 1 and approved contracts, permits & land use proposals during its meeting. The board also proclaimed Sept. 16 as Voter Registration Day with a library event from 2–7 p.m. to boost voter sign-ups. Cap City News
- ➤ Lawmakers and state parks officials are drafting a proposal that would charge mountain bikers a fee—$10 for local adults, $20 for non-residents or $5 daily—to fund the building and maintenance of non-motorized trails in parks like Curt Gowdy and Glendo. Cap City News

- ➤ The University of Wyoming Cowgirls Soccer Team upset ranked Georgia Bulldogs 1–0 on Sept. 4, 2025—earning their first ranked road win in team history as redshirt junior Alyssa Glover netted a goal in the 11th minute on an assist from freshman Addison Keen. Head coach Josh Purdum praised the team's strong defense while keeper Haley Bartel logged her third shutout and the team improved to a 3–1–1 record. Cap City News
