- ➤ Wildlife ecologist Chris Kirol surveyed the remaining large tracts of sagebrush in the Powder River Basin—reporting that while Wyoming sage grouse near their cyclic high, their northeastern population has tumbled. Wyoming Tribune Eagle

- ➤ At a four-hour hearing Tuesday, residents raised concerns about wildlife, safety, and land impacts as the Laramie County Commission voted 3-1 to deny the 56,000-acre wind project proposed by Repsol, citing risks that outweigh the benefits. Cowboy State Daily

- ➤ Bar Nunn will host the final Wind City No Prep drag race this Saturday, September 20 with racers inspected at 7:00 a.m. and a drivers meeting between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m.—road closures on Westwinds Road and Tonkawa Trail will start Friday night at 7:00 p.m. and continue until the event ends later Saturday afternoon. - ➤ Bar Nunn will host the final Wind City No Prep drag race on Saturday, September 20th, 2025—racers will vie for cash prizes and bragging rights.
