- ➤ Local youth ages 12-15 will join a free Youth Night at the Youth Activities Community Center at 1317 Parsley Blvd on Sept. 26 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.—the event will offer arcade games, volleyball, basketball, board games, and pizza with parental drop-off and pick-up for up to 70 participants. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Climbing advocates say the proposed end of the Roadless Rule will open up beloved climbing areas like the Wind River Range and Tensleep Canyon to building roads and cutting trees — the USDA Forest Service has a comment period open until tonight. Some critics warn the change will harm the wild feel of the forests and risk safety in fire-prone spots. Cap City News

Harriet Hageman, Wyoming’s lone delegate, said in a recent interview that her new Jan.6 committee is legitimate and will probe security failures linked to the Capitol attack, including unexplained bombs outside party headquarters—she stated that Liz Cheney’s panel did not meet House rules. - ➤ The Bureau of Land Management collected $8,450,944 from its third-quarter oil and gas lease sale in Cheyenne that leased 39,225.02 acres.
