- ➤ Wyoming lawmakers will pursue criminal charges against Weston County Clerk Becky Hadlock for allegedly defying a subpoena and missing Monday’s subcommittee meeting in Casper while she faced allegations in 2024 of election miscounts and ballot errors—if convicted, she may face fines up to $100 and up to six months in county jail. - ➤ David Snyder from Carey Junior High was named Laramie County School District 1’s Student of the Week for the week of Sept. 22 because he maintains a 4.0 GPA, shows leadership, and helps his peers. - ➤ The Department of Energy announced a $625 million boost for Wyoming’s coal industry, a funding move that could expand production—supporting local mining communities. Wyoming senators met with miners and said the investment will help restore jobs and improve energy security. KING FM
