  • A recent report shows that older Wyoming residents have higher gun suicide rates than people in other parts of the nation—if you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 for help.  Wyoming Tribune Eagle

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Wyoming Cowboys lost 31-17 to UNLV on a hail-covered Saturday night in Laramie after two blocked punts were returned for touchdowns—costing the team valuable points. Head coach Jay Sawvel said the team must improve snap timing and punt protection to avoid similar mistakes in the future.  KGAB
  • Wyoming high school football scores for Week 5 were reported from varsity games played on Oct.2 and Oct.3 from across the state—with local Laramie County matchups shown in bold. The report lists results from Class 1A, 6-man, 9-man, 4A, 3A, and 2A games to give a quick look at team performances.  Cap City News
