- ➤ This weekend Cheyenne hosts live music and spooky events. The Black Jacket Symphony will play AC/DC at the Civic Center, ghost tours at the CFD Old West Museum, trolley haunted tours, a costume sale, and a market are scheduled + Kip Moore will perform at The Lincoln on Saturday. 106.3 Cowboy Country
- ➤ A local guide leads a ghost tour that shows Cheyenne’s grim past at stops such as the renovated Atlas Theater, the Tivoli, and an old courthouse (known for eerie legends). The tour is available all year for residents and visitors who want to learn about local scandals and unsolved crimes. KGAB
- ➤ The Wyoming Wildlife Photo Contest is open until November 17 and offers photographers a chance to win a $600 grand prize along with awards in four categories for wildlife, scenic, recreation and flora. - ➤ The Bureau of Land Management has opened public scoping periods for 227 oil and gas parcels covering 250,930.64 acres in Wyoming and North Dakota that are set for 2026 lease sales—this is the first step in the federal process for developing these resources. - ➤ The Wyoming Department of Family Services announced that SNAP benefits for early November are delayed—along with pausing the Low Income Energy Assistance program due to the federal shutdown, affecting over 28,000 residents.
