- ➤ Kathy Karpan, who served as Wyoming’s secretary of state from 1987 to 1995, died Oct 24 at 83 after a long battle with cancer—she helped change how state legislators are elected and held key roles in both state and federal offices. Cap City News

Mark Gordon said political pressure from the Freedom Caucus led Radiant Industries to pull its nuclear microreactor plant plan from Natrona County and move it to Tennessee, blaming the group for opposing a law change on spent nuclear fuel waste storage. - ➤ Last Saturday, the Wyoming Cowboys won 28-0 in the 117th Border War at War Memorial Stadium, as quarterback Kaden Anderson threw for 154 yards and the defense forced three turnovers—marking the first time since 1966 that the team recorded two shutouts in a season and setting the stage for their trip to San Diego State next week. - ➤ Wyoming football reclaimed the Bronze Boot with a 28 to 0 win over Colorado State last night — their defense forced three interceptions and recorded the series' first shutout since 2010.
