- ➤ Belvoir Ranch near Cheyenne now offers 12 miles of public trails designed to conceal wind turbines and showcase views of the Rocky Mountains. Project manager Dustin Humphreys said the trails will open to the public next spring after final signage and maintenance are complete+ the city plans to connect the system to wider regional networks. - ➤ John Chernogorec took over Downtown Vinyl on Halloween October 31st and now runs the record store at 1612 Capitol Ave (next to the old Heinz building) where shoppers can buy modern and classic vinyl, cassettes, and 8-track tapes. Former owners Chuck and Kay Bybee announced the sale this morning, and local artist Tim Mandese was among the first customers to visit. KGAB

- ➤ U.S. officials plan to boost beef imports from Argentina to 80,000 metric tons annually in a move aimed at lowering prices while U.S. ranchers fear it could hurt domestic producers. Wyoming Senator John Barrasso said increased imports may reduce market access for local ranchers — concerns that are central to ongoing trade negotiations. 106.3 Cowboy Country

- ➤ The Wyoming Cowboys open their season today at 6:30 p.m. at the Arena-Auditorium against Northern State—head coach Sundance Wicks faces his alma mater in this first meeting of the two teams following recent exhibition wins. KGAB
- ➤ Wyoming Cowboys lost 24—7 at Snapdragon Stadium on Saturday as their offense stalled with only 185 yards and three first-half interceptions by quarterback Kaden Anderson. Backup quarterback Landon Sims—a sophomore with a repaired knee—fell to the turf and will miss the season as coach Jay Sawvel confirmed. KING FM
- ➤ At Snapdragon Stadium on Saturday night, Wyoming’s quarterback Kaden Anderson threw three interceptions in a 24-7 loss to San Diego State as the Aztec defense — which had previously allowed only 10 points per game — forced key turnovers. The loss leaves the Cowboys needing to improve quickly in their final three regular season games. KING FM
- ➤ Wyoming high school teams played in 20 quarterfinal playoff games on October 31 and began their journey to Laramie — the state championships will be held at War Memorial Stadium on November 14-15 where five champions will be crowned.
