- ➤ Girls on the Run held a 5k at Central High School where third to fifth graders built confidence and team skills, said Executive Director Cindy Bradley. The program has reached over 2 million girls in nearly 30 years and teaches them to value their uniqueness—showing real girl power. Wyoming Tribune Eagle

- ➤ City officials announced a modified schedule for Veterans Day on November 11—city offices, transit program, and sanitation facilities will be closed Tuesday while trash, recycling, and yard waste pickups shift one day. Key venues including the aquatic center, ice and events center, and city golf courses will remain open. KFBC
- ➤ Columnist Joan Barron recalled Dick Cheney's 1978 press room visit in Cheyenne when he was a young, funny candidate—a far cry from the stern leader he later became. - ➤ Wyoming coach Sundance Wicks said his team showed strength and inconsistency in a 92-82 win over Fullerton, noting that missed free throws and defensive errors hurt early before key plays lifted the Cowboys.
