GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The North City Improvements Project—Phase II will extend work on Storey Boulevard between Powderhouse Road and Converse Avenue until December 13 while the Board of Public Utilities implements temporary changes that may lower water pressure and cause discoloration; residents are advised to run cold water and avoid heavy use until it clears. Construction schedules may change with weather and material availability.  KFBC

HEALTH NEWS

  • Cheyenne resident Susan Denker said her toy poodle Lily saved her life last July when the dog barked to alert a friend (who called emergency help) after she suffered a severe heart attack, and Denker now credits Lily with being a vital part of her recovery.  Cowboy State Daily

SPORTS NEWS

  • Today, the Wyoming Cowboys host the Norfolk State Spartans at the Arena-Auditorium at 2 p.m.+ Wyoming lost its recent road game, and the Spartans, who are 4-0 at home, seek to extend their winning streak.  KING FM
  • The Wyoming Cowboys lost 13-7 to Nevada on Saturday at War Memorial Stadium, and the team honored 24 seniors + retired NFL MVP Josh Allen's jersey at halftime. Coach Jay Sawvel said the offense struggled to start and could not score a final touchdown before the game ended.  106.3 Cowboy Country
