- ➤ Dylan Grant, a 24-year-old former University of Wyoming bull rider from Laramie, died on Thursday night after being bucked off a bull at the Wharton County Youth Fair Xtreme Bulls event in Wharton, Texas — medics rushed him to an ambulance and then to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston where he was pronounced dead. - ➤ A Cody woman was arrested Friday after refusing to leave Wholesale Fireworks on W. College Drive and acting erratically; deputies forced entry into her car—discovering drug paraphernalia, a firearm, and other evidence—and she now faces charges including felony DUI, criminal trespass, and marijuana possession. - ➤ A 22-year-old Cheyenne man, Justice Earl Geho, was charged on Friday with felony theft and drug possession for a Pokémon card deal gone wrong — he also admitted to burgling a showroom by stealing a Ryobi snow blower, police said. Cowboy State Daily
- ➤ A 23-year-old Cheyenne man named Taigen John Freeman intentionally rear-ended a motorcyclist at 4:36 p.m. on April 1 at the Interstate 180 and Interstate 80 intersection — knocking the rider off the bike and fleeing the scene before admitting his actions, and he now faces felony charges for aggravated assault and battery with a $6,000 cash bond.
